The 2nd Annual Artful Night Under the Stars gala is already one of the most talked about events on 30A. If you love art, auctions, delectable food, and people-watching- this event is for you! Held April 27th, 2013 from 7-10 pm at the beautiful V Seagrove, this gala is sure to sell out fast.
Sip a glass of wine and enjoy the Gulf views while savoring the works of many talented artists. More than 25 local artisans donated work with the proceeds benefitting early childhood education efforts for The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School.
“At first we thought we would pass on doing this event again, but after such a wonderful event last year, our community members and art lovers were begging for a repeat!” says Maureen Paine, the founding director of The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School. “I think this gala is so special, largely in part of our amazing parents who have endless creativity, and the local businesses who continually support education. The incredible art auction items don’t hurt either.”
The highlight of Artful Night Under the Stars gala will be the more than 25 pieces of art created by the ever generous local artists and artisans in the 30A community including: Amundson Images, Anne Hall Designs, Arlene Newsome, Belinda Parsons, Blessings in Disguise, Candace Price, Chastane, Gordie Hinds, J Conley Images, Jane + Steve Thomas, Jane Whaley, Jonesy Works, Justin Gaffrey, Kim Pall, Kyleigh M. Reynolds, Kyrce Culbertson, Mary Hong, Maxine Orange, Miffie Hollyday + Rich DeAngelis, Peggy Jones, Susan Lucas, Steve Wagner, and 30 Alphabet.
Other auction items include restaurants and shopping gift certificates, fine wines, home décor, massage & spa packages, photography sessions, legal services, medical services, jewelry, unique dining experiences, and fabulous vacation homes in fun and exotic locales. $10 raffle tickets with a few surprise giveaways will be available for purchase during the event, or for an upgraded ticket price, the VIP level ticket includes three raffle tickets. And there is a rumor going around that the beloved 30A-opoly property trading game that was created by The Tree House parents will be generously bestowed upon numerous attendees.
The gala really becomes a party due to the mouth-watering heavy appetizers prepared by V Seagrove, adult beverages mixed to perfection & and delectable desserts provided by Sweet Henrietta’s Treats. Stunning table flower arrangements will be generously created by masterful Santa Rosa Beach florist Tim Ryan of Botaniq and Grayton Beer plans to give a plethora of pale and dark ale for all those frosty mug lovers.
For entertainment, the much beloved Alabama-based band Martha’s Trouble will serenade the patrons.
