POV: 30A Eats is a well established, but still quickly-growing food & travel webzine, dedicated to sharing Southern Coastal family recipes with readers, while promoting regional producers along the Gulf Coast, as well as hotels, resorts, spas, music + food/wine events, and high quality products. The goal is to share the best that my coastal community has to offer, and to help families reconnect over a meal at home that is both wholesome, easy to prepare, and as locally sourced as possible.
In a short amount of time I’ve established an exciting and interactive relationship with my readers and social media followers.
30A Eats Topics
- Cooking, recipes, photography and promoting top quality products + brands
- Travel, Festivals, Events
- Local Gulf Coast food news
- Restaurant & Chef Profiles + Videos
- Resort, Spa & Hotel Profiles
My readers range from 18 to 80 in age, the bulk being 23-54, and all have an interest in the South, coastal food, seafood, the Gulf Coast, beaches, music festivals, recipes, restaurants, cooking, top products + brands, and travel. 30AEATS is represented on Facebook, @Eater30a on twitter, 30A Eats Instagram, 30A Eats on Pinterest, Susan Benton on Linkedin, Susan Benton on Google +, and Triberr with more than 70,000 followers and a reach of over two million. Klout influence score is 63, and page rank is 3.
I take all photos myself unless otherwise noted. I prefer to use available natural light and schedule shoots in the morning or late afternoon, weather permitting. Some of the photos on the 30AEATS Facebook page come directly from the restaurant or property sites that I am promoting to support my community. My cover photo on 30AEATS.com home page is by renowned photographer Jack Gardner, who photographed my cookbook to be released in 2015 called, 30A EATS: The New Florida Table. You may not use my photos without approval.
Travel and Press
When I write about a place or what is produced, it is because I have personally enjoyed it and feel the readers will to. I have a deep interest and curiosity in food, travel, culture, and enjoy learning about new cuisines, places, and their producers. These include but are not limited to spa destinations, resorts, sustainable land & seafood, artisan cheese, wine, spirits, dark chocolate, cool music, and all things pig.
Press trips allow journalists and bloggers like myself the opportunity to go behind the scenes and have access where they would normally not. I welcome the opportunity. My opinions are always my own.
I am available for media promotions and trips, as well as judging food related competitions, teaching cooking classes, speaking at an event, being a brand ambassador, and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
30AEATS works with specific companies, cookbook authors, publications and agencies for the creative design and development of recipes. If interested, please contact me via the contact form on the home page, or email@example.com.
I work with clients based on their needs and adjust fees accordingly. However, if seeking a banner on 30AEats.com home page (side), the fee is $175.00 per month or $500.00 for three months. Advertising is to my discretion and must fit the pov of this website.
