Thanks for stopping by to inquire about partnering with 30AEATS. With just 2 years of blogging under my belt, I’ve established a wonderful and interactive relationship with my readers. I only accept ads that I think my readers would relate to, might enjoy, and could benefit from.
Topics range from
- Cooking and recipes
- Local news
My readers range from 25 to 70 in age and all have an interest in the Gulf Coast, Seafood, Recipes, Restaurants, Cooking and Travel. 30AEATS is represented on Facebook, @fromagechick on twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Google +, Four Square and Triberr with more than 25,000 followers and a reach of more than one million. Klout influence score is 63, and page rank is 3.
When and why did you start this site?
I have a passion for food, writing, cooking, travel, photography and art, and this website is a wonderful way to channel all of my creative energy and share content with readers.
I decided to fully pursue 30AEATS.com in Sept. 2011, after my daughter headed off to college knowing my son would leave the next year. I now have all of the time I need to focus my efforts on featuring the stories and adventures I choose to share with readers.
Can I republish your post, recipe and/or photo on my site?
No, you cannot use my content on your site unless I get the credit. If you make one of my recipes and want to use it in your blog, you can link it back to my site without the recipe, or adapt the recipe in your own language. Go to Food Blog Alliance for information on this subject. Photos and content are subject to approval, so please just ask. The answer will more than likely be yes.
What kind of Camera do you use? Who takes the pictures?
I am currently using two Cannon EOS D60 cameras with lenses, and I take all of the pictures myself unless otherwise noted. I prefer to use available natural light. Some of the photos on the 30AEATS Face book page come directly from the restaurant sites that I am freely promoting to support my local community.
What is your procedure in reviewing restaurants for 30AEATS.com?
The restaurants, shops, food products and hotels that I mention on this website are places that I would generally recommend, unless otherwise noted. I will not be doing traditional “reviews,” as that involves extensive note taking, enormous amounts of research and a return to the establishment three or more times for accuracy. I will review restaurants in a positive light that I would go to or have enjoyed. I like to focus on the positives, as everyone has a bad day, therefore you will not read negative reviews. If I find after visiting an establishment several times it is not to my satisfaction, I will not write about it or share it on this site.
What about Travel and Press?
If I write about a place or what is produced there, it is because I have personally enjoyed it and feel the readers will to. I have a deep interest and curiosity in food, travel, culture, and enjoy learning about foods, places, and their producers. These include but are not limited to spas, resorts, seafood, cheese, wine, bourbon, vodka, chocolate and all things pig.
Press trips allow journalists and bloggers like myself the opportunity to go behind the scenes, and have access where they would normally not. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about other countries, states, resorts, food or subjects I am interested in. My opinions are always my own.
I am available for media trips and can be reached at email@example.com.
