POV- 30A Eats is a well established and growing food & travel webzine, dedicated to sharing my 30A home and southern coastal family recipes with readers, while promoting regional producers along the Gulf Coast, as well as international hotels, resorts, spas, art, music + food/wine events, and high quality products. The goal is to share the best that my coastal community has to offer, excite followers about travel, and to help families reconnect over a meal at home that is both wholesome, easy to prepare, and as locally sourced as possible.

In a short amount of time I’ve established an exciting and interactive relationship with my readers and social media followers.

I take all photos myself unless otherwise noted. I prefer to use available natural light and schedule shoots in the morning or late afternoon, weather permitting. Some of the photos on the 30AEATS Facebook page come directly from the restaurant or property sites that I am promoting to support my community. My cover photo on home page is by renowned photographer Jack Gardner, who photographed my cookbook to be released in 2018. You may not use my photos without approval.

When I write about a place or what is produced, it is because I have personally enjoyed it and feel the readers will to. I have a deep interest and curiosity in food, travel, art, culture, and enjoy learning about new cuisines, and cities. These include but are not limited to spa destinations, resorts, sustainable seafood, artisan cheese, wine, spirits, music, and luxury travel destinations.

Press trips allow journalists and bloggers like myself the opportunity to go behind the scenes and have access where they would normally not. I welcome the opportunity. My opinions are always my own.
