As the owner of 30AEATS.com, a Top 100 Gulf Coast Seafood Blogger , and food writer for many beloved publications in print and online, I am honored to be a judge for The 30A Seafood Throwdown on Saturday September, 28th. Eight of South Walton’s top chefs will compete in this exceptional culinary competition, and there will be live Music by HORIZON & Members of the Revivalists with Khris Royal and Eric Vogel. This event, along with a jam packed music weekend is presented by Global Fish Aid & Pandora’s of Grayton Beach.
The ticket price is $35.00 and includes entry for both bands, door prizes, and dinner with dishes like red snapper and shrimp & grits. Most importantly – you too will have the chance to be a judge in the Seafood Throwdown!
The 30A Throwdown Chefs include, Chef Dave Cunningham of V Seagrove, Chef Oliver Petit of The Red Bar, Chef Chris Mack of Pandora’s of Grayton Beach, Chef Ryan Montalto of Pranzo’s Italian Ristorante, Chef Dan Vargo of Seagars, Chef Phil McDonald of Table Five, Chef Michael Guerrs of Havana Beach at The Pearl, and Chef Jim Richard of Stinky’s Fish Camp.
Doors will open at 2pm, and The Throwdown is held from 3-5pm. Awards for the area’s best are at 6pm.
