The Market Shops 5th Annual Bloody Mary Festival benefiting Habitat for Humanity Walton County is taking place on Saturday, November 2nd from 11 am to 2 pm in South Walton, Florida.  This year’s festival welcomes many favorite restaurants, bars and culinary artists from around South Walton and Destin.

Who’s ready to #EatDrinkBMary? Dubbed as the LARGEST tailgating party on the Emerald Coast, The Market Shops 5th Annual Bloody Mary Festival recently took home the award for Best Local Event 2019 by the readers of Emerald Coast Magazine!

Another Broken Egg Cafe,  Bijoux Restaurant + Spirits, Blue Mabel, Camille’s at Crystal Beach, Emeril’s Coastal Italian, Grits & Grind, Half Shell Oyster House, The Henderson Beach Resort & Spa, Jackacuda’s Seafood & Sushi, LuLu’s Destin, Rockin’ Tacos, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Shades Bar and Grill, Signature Catering of 30A, Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster House, Sunset Bay Cafe, and The Surf Hut!

Each of these local restaurants will be serving up their own twist and take on the classic Bloody Mary using Cathead Vodka. There will be a panel of judges who will choose the “2019 Best Bloody Mary in South Walton” while the people choose 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place People’s Choice Awards! All winners will go home with a handcrafted trophy courtesy of Maxine Orange.

Tailgate Like Never Before Get ready to watch the big game on the big screen, sponsored by Insurance Zone and courtesy of Tail Grayton. Take a seat and stay a while to enjoy all of the festival happenings in the special lounge area outfitted by Rent Gear Here featuring additional premium seating and cornhole games. Shore Things Cigars will also be in attendance to provide a selection of hand crafted premium cigars.

Shop and Win! Shop from multiple Market Shops merchants throughout the festival including Wren’s Village Boutique, Sunset Shoes, Sirens Lingerie & Swim, and more! We’ll also be raffling off a pair of Maho Shades paired with a build-your-own Bloody Mary Basket with all proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity – Walton County! Tickets will be on sale in the courtyard during the festival.

New this year, cool off with a “Boozy Popsicle” from Swell Pops! Their specialty crafted popsicles make for the perfect festival treat.

Bijoux Restaurant + Spirits will also be offering a New-Orleans style brunch from 10:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. as part of the festival, with 10% of proceeds benefitting Habitat for Humanity – Walton County. Brunch will also include bottomless mimosas and a full-service bar. To make reservations, call 850-622-0760.

Jon Smith Subs will be offering a 10% discount to any ticket holder during the festival. They will also donate 10% of the sales from those ticket holders sales back to Habitat for Humanity.

What You Need to Bring: Bring a lawn chair or beach blanket to sit and enjoy the this year’s headlining band, Dread Clampitt, on the main stage sponsored by Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast. Or, grab a chair and sit in the bustling courtyard and listen to the beats by DJ Dad. You’ll also want to bring sunglasses or a hat because we are expecting 100% chance of sunshine for this fun-filled day! Other than that, make sure you bring the whole family (fur children included) to enjoy a bloody good time NEXT WEEKEND at The Market Shops.
